Moss & Moon Wellbeing – Client Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Moss & Moon Wellbeing. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully, as they apply to all bookings, treatments, workshops and sessions within our space at 59a Bank Street, Ossett WF5 8PR. By booking or attending a session you agree to abide by them.

1. Booking, Deposits & Payments

1.1 A valid booking is confirmed once the required deposit (if applicable) is paid and the session time is secured.
1.2 The remaining balance (if any) is payable on the day of your appointment, workshop or session unless otherwise agreed.
1.3 If you do not pay the required deposit or full payment when required, your booking may be subject to cancellation.
1.4 Payment methods accepted: card, bank transfer, cash.

2. Cancelling or Rescheduling Appointments

2.1 Please inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Evening and weekend sessions often fill quickly.
2.2 Cancellations/reschedules made within 48 hours (or other agreed timeframe) of the appointment may incur loss of deposit or full session cost.
2.3 No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur full session cost unless exceptional circumstances apply.
2.4 Where no deposit has been taken in advance, cancellation within 48 hours will still require payment of 50% of the session cost, unless agreed otherwise.

3. Arrival & Session Time

3.1 Please arrive on time so you receive the full benefit of your booking. Arriving late may reduce your session duration, though full fees will still apply.
3.2 If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to refuse the session and charge the full cost.
3.3 The session will end at the scheduled time to avoid disruption to other bookings.

4. Workshops, Courses & Group Spaces

4.1 For workshops, group sessions or courses: fees, cancellation terms and deposit requirements will be confirmed at the time of booking.
4.2 If a course or block of sessions is purchased, they must be used within the agreed time frame unless otherwise stated.
4.3 Gift vouchers and prepaid workshops or packages expire after 6 months unless otherwise stated.

5. Health, Safety & Suitability

5.1 You are responsible for disclosing any medical condition, pregnancy, injury or special requirement that may affect your session. We reserve the right to refuse or alter a booking if deemed necessary for your safety.
5.2 Treatment of pregnant clients, post-surgery recovery, children or other specialist sessions may carry additional guidelines or restrictions — please check at booking.
5.3 If you attend a session under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or behave inappropriately, we reserve the right to refuse treatment and charge the full cost.
5.4 You must wear underwear at all times during treatments; full nudity or indecent exposure is not permitted and will result in immediate session termination and full charge. Such incidents will be reported to West Yorkshire Police and you will be refused future treatment.
5.5 Please follow our in-session and venue safety instructions regarding use of oils, candles, incense, equipment and shared spaces.

6. Responsibility, Confidentiality & Professional Boundaries

6.1 All treatments, workshops and sessions are provided by independent, self-employed practitioners operating within Moss & Moon Wellbeing. We endeavour to maintain high standards, but you are responsible for choosing a practitioner whose skills and services meet your needs.
6.2 Practitioners are professionally insured, and you should ensure you are comfortable with their credentials and scope of services.
6.3 All information disclosed is treated in confidence. However, practitioners may be required by law to disclose information in certain circumstances (e.g., safeguarding, serious harm).
6.4 The guidance, treatments or workshops offered are not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. You accept full responsibility for any decisions made following a session.
6.5 We are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your participation, unless due to negligence on our part.

7. Loyalty Programmes, Block-Bookings & Memberships

7.1 Where block-bookings, memberships, loyalty cards or multi-session packages are offered, the specific terms (discounts, expiry, sharing) will be provided at time of purchase.
7.2 Unless otherwise stated, such packages must be used within the agreed validity period and cannot be shared unless explicitly permitted.

8. Gift Vouchers

8.1 Gift vouchers are valid for [6 months] from date of issue unless otherwise stated.
8.2 Bookings made with gift vouchers still adhere to our cancellation policy (see section 2).
8.3 Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced. The full value cannot be exchanged for cash.

9. Changes to Sessions or Venue

9.1 We reserve the right to substitute a practitioner or change venue space if needed, giving you as much notice as possible.
9.2 If we cancel a session, you will be offered an alternative time or full refund of any payment made.
9.3 We are not liable for compensation beyond refund of paid amounts.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

10.1 We respect your privacy. Personal information will be collected, stored and processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
10.2 For group workshops or courses your name may be shared with the practitioner for session management.
10.3 For promotional purposes, we may send marketing emails from which you may unsubscribe at any time.

11. Complaints & Feedback

11.1 We invite feedback to help us continually improve our services. If you have any complaint, please let us know as soon as possible.
11.2 We will respond to complaints within a reasonable timeframe and aim to resolve matters amicably.
11.3 This does not affect your statutory rights.

12. Terms of Review

12.1 We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time and will publish the current version on our website.
12.2 By booking or attending after changes are published, you accept the updated terms.

13. Tarot, Psychic & Spiritual Readings

13.1 All readings, energy sessions, and spiritual consultations (including tarot, oracle, crystal ball, channelling, and angelic guidance) are provided for personal insight, reflection, and entertainment purposes only. They should not be treated as a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

13.2 Readings are intended to offer guidance, empowerment, and self-awareness — they do not predict the future with absolute certainty. The client remains responsible for all choices and actions taken following a reading.

13.3 Practitioners do not diagnose conditions, offer medical or financial guarantees, or interfere with the free will of any individual.

13.4 Clients must be aged 18 years or over to receive a tarot or spiritual reading unless accompanied by a parent or guardian and agreed in advance.

13.5 By booking or participating in a reading, you confirm that you:

  • Understand that all information shared is for personal reflection and insight only.

  • Consent to receive intuitive or spiritual guidance as part of your session.

  • Accept that the practitioner and Moss & Moon Wellbeing hold no liability for personal interpretations, decisions, or outcomes resulting from the session.

13.6 Spiritual readings are sacred and confidential. No personal information will be shared outside of your session, except where required by law (e.g. safeguarding concerns).

Thank you for your understanding and for being part of the Moss & Moon Wellbeing community. We look forward to supporting your journey.
